🌿 Art Supply Tariff Update for Jackson's Art

🌿 Tariff update! Jackson's has figured out their procedures. Here's how shipping will work for U.S. customers (for now).

1. Shop at Jackson's Art here.

2. Items available in their Maine warehouse (many choices from Daniel Smith, M Graham, Schmincke Horadam, Sennelier, etc.) will show a US flag when added to your cart. These items will not incur a duty or any time in customs.

3. Items available only in their UK warehouse (A Gallo, Roman Szmal, Rosa Gallery, etc.) will show a UK flag when added to your basket. The tariff / duty cost will already be included in the listed price. Shipping may take a bit longer to clear customs, but according to Jackson's "your order will arrive with no additional fees for you to pay."

Here's a FAQ where Jackson's explains all this.

4. Some items cannot be shipped to the U.S. at all by Jackson's because of brand / distributor agreements. In the watercolor category, these include some Holbein selections, Jackson's house brand watercolors, Rembrandt, Van Gogh, Winsor & Newton, etc. A notice will appear when you add such items to your cart. Got all that?

🎨 🎨 🎨 My *** favorite *** items available in the Maine warehouse are Sennelier full pans. Full pans are always my preference because they're easier on my brushes and don't need refilled often (if ever).

Jackson's Art is one of the only places in the world to purchase open stock Sennelier colors in full pan format.

Sennelier L'Aquarelle has become my go-to watercolor brand lately because in allllll my testing I've found it's the least likely brand to experience bronzing (a shiny finish in masstone) or cauliflowering (back runs).

Shop for full pans of Sennelier at Jackson's here.

What are your "can't miss" items from Jackson's?

Happy painting,
Ann
