🌿 Prime Day Deals On Art, Planning, And Journaling Supplies

🌿 Amazon Prime Day is essentially an early Black Friday. This year it runs July 8-11, 2025.

Are the sales worth it? Yes and no. There are many supplies which look great online and disappoint in real life.

I'm never a fan of big art sets filled with paints, pencils, and an easel, as you'll get better quality for a similar price by selecting individual products from trusted brands.

I've searched for the best sales on art, journaling, and planning supplies I actually use. Everything listed here is something I'm happy to recommend.

* all sales are at Amazon unless otherwise noted

☛ Here's a handy list right on Amazon.

--- 8% off hot press

(listing this here because I like listening to books while I paint)

--- I made a whole Idea List with my favorite art & journaling tutorial books which are on sale

(very well made; unique tweed lining; holds either a Stalogy or Hobonichi Techo Cousin)

--- 31% off Colors Of The World markers
(awesome for coloring wildlife)

--- 26% off A5 ruled journals
(these take watercolors and fountain pens beautifully)

--- 45% off paperback
(fantabulous reference for drawing and painting more than 400 different flowers)

French Speckletone Cardstock ♻️
--- 20% off 12x12 Oatmeal
(100% recycled; made in the USA; takes every pen, marker, and paint I've tried; works in my printer; note: I only like 'oatmeal' . . . the other colors have a different finish)

Guided Journals

--- 37% off Sierra series
(one of the best items I've ever purchased from Amazon; good quality, comfortable, and trusted for carrying my DSLR)

Moleskine ♻️
--- up to 63% off notebooks and planners

(FSC Certified, made in the USA; I use the slightly lighter weight 90# for printing coloring pages to watercolor and then add to my journals; they perform well for ink & wash and don't bulk up my pages as much as regular watercolor paper would)

(I use these for swatching and scrubbing so I don't mess up my best brushes)

--- 18% off set of 24 colors
(these are dye based and tend to bleed through many papers, but when you find the right paper type, they're fantastic for getting thin upstrokes and thick downstrokes in a variety of pretty colors; NOT waterproof at all)

--- 14% off Versailles journal
(an elegant journal which takes nearly all my pens, markers, and watercolor without bleedthrough)

(extremely comfortable for long-form writing; NOT waterproof)

Princeton
--- 18% off Velvetouch Long Round #2 Watercolor Brush
(this is the brush I've reached for most often over the last three years)

--- 44% off set of 12
(these erase regular graphite pencils beautifully; they do not erase colored pencils)

(ridiculously smooth and bold; many of the colors look rich and vibrant on both white paper and dark papers like black and navy)

Sennelier
--- 20% off Aqua Mini half pan watercolor set
(This isn't a great stand-alone set because of the color election, but it's a fantastic way to try artist quality watercolors in a relatively inexpensive way; 8 half pans, a nice little travel brush, and a cute tin for under $30)

Stalogy 365 ♻️
--- 25% off A5 notebooks with 368 pages (square grid)
--- 31% off B6 notebooks with 368 pages (square grid)
(Made in Japan; FSC certified paper)

--- 11% off paperback
(I made a whole video showing how I use this clever little book for journaling)

Tombow Mono Correction Tape <<<<<< my favorite deal of all!
--- up to 43% off sets of 2, 4, or 10 correction rollers
(smooth and easy to write on; hasn't changed in 20 years; I keep one of these everywhere including my gym bag!)

(my favorite fineliners for sketching; they dry instantly so I can begin watercoloring quickly)

--- 14% off #001 ruled insert

Yasutomo
--- 6% off porcelain flower watercolor palette made in Japan
--- 12% off pearlescent watercolors (excellent if you wet them for a while before using)

Happy bargain hunting,
Ann
