🌿 I've found that when I write down a detailed list of resolutions for the new year, I'm unsuccessful in achieving them. I think it's because the stress of following the letter of the goal takes all the wonder and joy out of the journey.
This year, I'm simply asking myself to open my heart to possibility. Stop being so rigid in my requirements for, for example, a new home. Be open to a place or style I hadn't considered. The same with work, with friends, with health, and with hobbies. Put aside preconceived notations and just try.
Don't be jaded. Don't jump to conclusions. Don't read too much into someone else's review.
Find new paths to hike. Find new places to put my face to the sunshine. Try new recipes and new genres of film, music, and literature.
Welcome 2026 with an open heart!
